That looks like it should do nicely. You'll have to fire it up and test the temps to be sure (give it 45 min to run at least). You'll want to check the surface temps using a digital thermometer with a probe put right on the surface or an infrared temp gun to get the best readings. The basking surfaces should be between about 38-42c or so with a gradient down to about 24-28c on the cool side.

Yeah. You might want to get an adjustable lamp stand or a lamp dimmer to adjust the output if the temps aren't right but to start with you can just plop it right on top of the tank, sure.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.
