Hi! I'm a new beardie mom and I'm very much in love with my baby Yondu Poppins, she's a citrus, 14" long, I've had her since June and was told she was 8mo when I got her. I'm very glad I found this community because many times I find myself wondering basic stuff u can't find on books, like, is that breath a happy breath? Like a sigh? How can I tell she's happy, how can she express contentment ? All questions experienced owners might help me answer, so thank u for existing and for all the info I'm gonna gather so that I can be a better mother of dragons jeje
When I figure out how to post pics I'll let u guys see her tank :) she's a true guardian of the galaxy

Welcome to the forum! You can upload photos here https://www.beardeddragon.org/useruploads/ and post them using the XIMG button when you reply.

After a while you'll start to get the feel for her moods. They are usually alert and bright eyed when they are happy. You'll see a bright beard with some color in it. A lot of times they'll sit with their mouth open contentedly basking.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
