Hello all! I am new to the site and I wanted to introduce myself and Rhodie! Rhodie was purchased with the Pets in the Classroom Grant, sponsored by PetCo. My (then 4th grade) students petitioned our principal for a class pet, and used the care sheets provided on each of the reptiles to narrow it down to a bearded dragon. During the school year, they take care of her in the classroom, and I keep her home at night!
Like many others I've seen on the forum, I was definitely led astray for the first few months of having her by pet store misinformation, but we have corrected as much as we know through the vet and this board! She is growing rapidly! She's a sweet beardie who loves being around people, watching tv, and is currently missing her class this summer!
We are excited to be a part of the community!
