My son has wanted a bearded dragon for a couple years now, but my wife was very afraid of any and all reptiles. Recently, our kids have gotten to know a couple new friends who happen to have beardies. My wife warmed up to them and we are now the proud owners of a bearded dragon. My son is very happy.
