It's been about 4 weeks since Mizu has become a family member and my brother has been a huge help. Along the way, he realised how much he adores bearded dragons and wants one to call his own (he's 17). It just so happened I was scheduling a purchase with a guy selling reptile tanks and he informed me that he has four beardies that he's looking to rehome due to his own time restraints not letting him give them the care they really need so I agreed to take one of them.
So we went to meet this guy for the tanks and to get a lovely lady to cuddle with! She is going by the name Elektra. She could engulf Mizu at nearly three times his size but she's so precious. It was definitely a stressful day for her but after a bath (her tank was really dirty so she smelled unfortunate and she's also shedding on her face), she promptly took a nap in the towels she was drying off in. Later she had no problem munching on some collard greens so I say that's a pretty good sign!
