Hello! This is my new bearded dragon, Albert, with a capital A for "Attitude".
I'm a new mom, though we have a leopard gecko and a turtle also. For years I've hoped to have a bearded dragon and he is my birthday present from the family. He is still a little skittish so I am being patient and attentive while he settles in.
While I have been browsing these forums I feel inspired and comfortable with the member's knowledge and love for their bearded dragons. It's wonderful to be here!
. I'd get rid of the sand tho. Especially if its calcium sand. It will cause impaction. I use ceramic tiles. Way easier to clean and keeps nails trimmed. I use to use sand, but it was so messy and stunk cuz you can't scoop all the liquid out. You can also use paper towels, non adhesive shelf liner or any other solid substrate.
