Hello all! We just got our beardie on Sunday and love him so much all ready! Well we are not sure if he is a boy or girl yet.

I will try and post a pic of our setup to see if any of you see something we should change. Just wanted to pop on and say hello! I'm excited to read through the threads and learn more about these amazing little reptiles!

What UVB are you using? You want it over the basking spot so he soaks up the UVB while basking.

It is a zoo med terrarium hood..... it came with the kit we bought. So do I move it next to the other lights vertically or horizontally?

Any way you can make it fit!

Does it house a UVB tube or bulb? If it isnt a T8 or T5 tube you should swap it for one of them. T5 can go on top of the screen (as long as the beardie is 12 inches from it) and the T8 needs to be mounted underneath at 6-8 inches from your dragon.
