It's also helpful to get a roach colony started ahead of time so they're established and ready to go when you need lots of bugs https://www.southtexasdragons.com/dubia-roaches.html Otherwise you'll wind up ordering a lot of crickets in bulk (approx 1,000 per month)

What CooperDragon said is SO TRUE. Baby beardies will eat you out of house and home if you're not prepared.
