Only weighs 100g

Hey, I really don't want to sound like a bad bearded dragon owner, but. My female Beardie only weighs 100 grams and my male Beardie might of mated with her. I don't see any bite marks on her but I just need to be sure, will it kill her if she got pregnant?

I doubt that he mated with her but how is it that they were even together for this to happen ? How big is the male ? Keep them apart and don't let him harass her, he can kill her easily. Can you post pics of them ?

It sounds like he has been the dominant one and is getting all the food for her to be that skinny- it is best to separate them so she can gain weight and be under less stress --- I would do this ASAP-- she needs her own lights and basking temps ---

Thanks for your replies, they still are growing, and pretty small, but they are at sexual maturity. They both get equal amount of food. They are living in the same enclosure (for now). They grew up in the same enclosure together (not siblings). And I don't want to separate them, but I will very soon due to what has happened. The male is actually smaller then the female.

Ok but beware they will get worse as they get older --- they need their OWN space and if you want babies then you will have them --- also I would get rid of the sand --- I would replace w/ some textured NON adhesive shelf liner from your local home improvement store -- its cheap and easy to clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50 in a spray bottle and insects cannot get underneath ---

So the male is the little one on the right ? They are too young to breed so she won't develop any eggs. You do need to separate them though or they just won't develop properly and she will end up either laying eggs way too young or they may fight because she'll be tired of him jumping on he. Either way it's best to set them up in their own tanks.
