I was wondering with all the different morphs that are available out there. Has anyone ever seen a solid black Beardie? I think that would be a beautiful animal!

Hi there,

It's been a goal of many breeders I'm sure for awhile. So far the closest weve got is that some trans zeros come out really dark as babies, but they always lighten up with age to a gray color. Like this:

Some more recent ones have been darker, but they always end up gray as they age.

Ok. I was just wondering, bc I’ve never seen one. That’s interesting. Is it bc the genes aren’t strong enough to keep them black so they gradually lighten up as they grow?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
