I was wondering if heat lamps are ok on chicken wire, or if I should instead buy aluminum mesh? Thanks
Is a heat lamp safe on chicken wire?

It shouldn't pose a problem for the chicken wire. Just be sure both are well out of reach (I usually recommend at least 12'' away from the basking area for a basking light) to prevent burn risk.
