Hello,

Are you using a red light for basking? Which type/brand of UVB light are you using?
We need to review the lighting a bit more with you.

for the basking lighting i’ve been using Exo Terra Infrared Basking Reptile Spot Lamp, 50-w bulb and for uvb lighting i use Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Mini Reptile Lamp, 13-Watt

Ok so we got a double whammy going on here -- please get rid of the red light ASAP cant express this enough and the coil UVB --- those are both bad bulbs and will cause all kinds of illnesses --- please replace w/ these ASAP --- like yesterday!!
a bright white basking bulb this is what starts digestion you need a bulb that keeps temps 95-100 for a adult / juvie or 105-110 for a baby --- please get a digital probe thermometer ASAP--- you will need that to get proper basking temps -- your going to need to upgrade that tank to a bigger one like a 75-120 gallon for adult dragon --- we can help you there but you must get the lighting and basking temps fixed first I am going to post links to what you need NOW
https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/environmental-control-and-lighting/humidity-and-temperature-control/zoo-med-reptile-terrarium-digital-thermometer-14914.html?cgid=500113 I would get two of them
https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-t5-ho-terrarium-hood.html 24" fixture this would be for a 40 + gallon tank - the fixture comes w/ a 5.0 bulb hang on to it - you can use it for a back up but the distance and placement is different from the bulb you need now
22" bulb https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-10.0-uvb-t5.html
Basking bulb https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/exo-terra-intense-basking-spot-lamp I tried PetSmart and I dont know if they are carrying this anymore or not --
I have posted all these links so you can see what exactly you need you need all this stuff NOW it is the lifeline to your dragon ------------ when you get the UVB please post back on here so I can help you get it set up in the tank --- they require certain distance and placement -- take the digital probe set on the hammock where he sits to bask and get the temp -- 10 minutes or so

I do advise changing the lighting. Think of the goal as trying to imitate natural sunlight. For basking light, go for something that produces bright white light and heat. You want surface temps of the basking area to be around 100-105. Usually a halogen or incandescent flood light will work well for this. Try a PAR38 halogen flood or BR40 bulb. The wattage you need really depends on the surface temperatures you get so it may take some trial and error at first in order to find one that works well for your setup. It's best to use a digital thermometer with a probe that you can put on the basking surface to get accurate readings and adjust your light accordingly.

The other component is UVB. Dragons need fairly strong UVB so the 13w compact won't be strong enough to be helpful. I suggest getting a 24'' T5 Arcadia Pro like this http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/arcadia-pro-t5-fixture-12-bulb-22-5-sale/ and set that next to the basking fixture over the basking area. The combination of the two should provide what a dragon needs to thrive.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
