lighting times summer to winter

I'm in the UK and have a 1 year old beardie called Bruce, during summer the lights been set on a timer for 13 hours from 630am to 730pm.
With the season change im looking to reduce to 10 or 11 hours until the spring, is that a good idea and should I reduce gradually or just switch straight from 13 to 10/11 hours?
I notice he's usually settling himself to sleep around 630-7pm, so was thinking of 730am to 6pm times.
Any advice peeps?

I've done both. Recently I stopped bothering with the time changes aside from small adjustments to mirror my schedule changes. If you see them start to go to bed earlier, that's normal and they'll usually bunker down in a hide or some place that is already fairly dark. You can turn the lights off earlier if you want to, but I haven't really seen much benefit either way. The more important side of it, from what I've seen, is the morning wake up time. As long as that is a bit (maybe 30-60 minutes) before you wake up and want to get the morning routine started, that's the more important thing to focus on. Mostly so they are up and ready to go for breakfast and some run around time in order to fit your schedule.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
