Mounting Reflector Hood Inside Vivarium

Hello! I am currently looking into mounting my reflector Hood inside my lizard's Viv. It's a Zoomed Reptisun 24 inch hood, and I have a viv that opens from the top. My current plan is to use shelving hooks and mount them with heavy duty adhesive or command strips, but I'm worried about the potential for the hood to fall and was wondering if anyone has done something similar in the past.

Thank you!

Not sure about your mounting hardware but you can use these things if you want to
3 M command Velcro fasteners- picture hanging wire – long plastic zip ties-- fishing line -- potted plant hangers -- shoe laces --- as long as its sturdy you should be good --- you can use them towards the ends but not too close so it slips off maybe one in the middle and then on the other end --

Most of these suggestions require suspending the hood from.the top of the vivarium--which I'm afraid isn't going to cut it for me. Ideally, I would like some hardware similar to a over the door hanger with a wide enough flat hook for the hood to sit on--very little chance of that failing. I will look at potted plant and shepherd's hooks though--there might be something with a flat base I can use. Thank you!

More of an observation than a solution but I just took a look at my fixture and it has vents on both sides. Perhaps you could rig some kind of tab or hook that grabs onto the vents and not have to wrap anything around the whole fixture. Overhead hooks aren't as good of an option with these as is the case with some of the grow light fixtures. They were designed to sit on top of an enclosure without much thought to alternative rigging unfortunately.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
