Good Morning Gang:
So I upgraded to all digital thermometers and was just curious about the placement of the probes. So I have the heat lamps at the front of the enclosure and the UVB at the back. So should the probes be at the front of the enclosure nearer to the heat lamp or at the back of the enclosure away from the heat lamp. I have two but the second of is the cooler side of the tank so I really don't think probe placement matters all that much. But the basking side is where I question it. Also bought a digital humidity stat as well. I kept the dial thermometers attached to the back of the tank because why not have backups right.

You will place the probe wherever you want the read a measurement from. They dont have to stay committed to a single space either.

For the basking site, take the measurement from a few locations. And take note of the temperature where your dragon typically basks.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
