Sealed Pine Enclosures??

Post this question on the enclosure board please--- I want to say pine is not good to use but someone in that area of expertise needs to answer

Pine is probably OK as long as it is dried out and you seal it well. I think the concern with pine and spruce has a lot to do with their sap and perhaps aromatics. If you have another option available it may be better. There is a bit of information about it here http://www.anapsid.org/cedar2.html

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.
