So, full disclosure, this isn't actually for my beardie but a large female python. She's just getting out of her quarantine bin and I'm having trouble finding a UTH that's suitably sized for her permanent enclosure. Anyone have suggestions? I'm looking for something roughly 12 by 18 inches, though obviously a little different than that isn't going to hurt my heart.

Would heat tape used for beer fermentation work? If you set it on a thermostat it might be able to provide the temps you're looking for and is around the right size https://www.morebeer.com/products/fermwrap-heater.html

I can second that I use a similar seed mat to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IDQD32Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my dubia and find it very reliable.

Mine is just a model without a thermostat so I added on that supplies power or turns it off based on temp reading
