Today we upgraded our dear boy's house. We know we will be upgrading again soon, so with that being said, we want to use what we can to make it work until we have to upgrade again! (If possible, of course!)
We were in a 20 Gallon Aquarium with a 18' T8 Reptisun 5.0 UVB and a 60 Watt CHE (This seemed to work perfect for us in the past!)
We are currently in a 40 Gallon Breeder with a 18' T8 Reptisun 10.0 UVB and BOTH 60 Watt and 100 Watt CHE's.
Our temperatures are still a bit low and I'm sure he's not getting enough UVB with what we currently have.
We plan on mounting his UVB light under his lid, if we decide to keep using this fixture.
He is about 1 year old and real healthy. We also live in a pretty humid area!
As always, we just want the best for our sweet boy!
Thank you in advance!

No mention of a bright white basking bulb --- you NEED one of those ASAP - I would start w/ a 100 watt make sure you have a digital probe to get that temp of where they are sitting to bask temps for an adult dragon need to be 95-110 -- CHE's are only good for nite time temps if your tank is falling below 65 at nite -------------they are not a basking bulb!!!! Please get one ASAP- your dragon is not going to be able to digest his food w/ out it--the UVB I would go to the 10.0 bulb it is stronger than the 5.0 that is more for aquarium use ---- the T 8 needs to be inside the tank no cover on the bulb meaning it needs to be exposed distance from basking spot 8-10 inches -----------

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
