hiding spots

what are the thoughts on hollowed out rocks for hiding? anyone using them? i saw a youtube where the female was coming out of one but our breeder said not to have one because they wont get enought heat...

Are you talking about for a hide? I have a rock that is made out of a resin type material that I got from PetSmart - they no longer carry them but my dragon loves that thing - it sits under his UVB and he sleeps in it---
