Humidity

I read that the humidity in the tank should be 30-50%. On the basking side it was 21% and on the cool side 40%...is that typical for it to be lower in the basking spot? What is too low?

Hello,

Yes, that is pretty normal for the humidity to be lower on the basking end, since the heat will
dry it up a little more than on the cooler end.
Those levels should be fine, no problem at all. I wouldn't want it to get too much under 20%
or so on a consistent basis because that can sometimes lead to dehydration or just a harder
time with shedding.

Humidity in this context is actually relative humidity (RH); the higher the temp, the lower the RH, and verse vica.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
