Max size for baby enclosure?

Postby hellothere » Sat Jun 15, 2019 9:27 am

Last night I found an old 50 or 60 gallon aquarium in my garage and I plan to use it for a beardie. I’ve heard too much space can stress them out, so should I divide it in half, a quarter, three quarters, etc. The beardie I’m getting is about 6 or 7 inches for reference.

A baby is fine in a large tank as long as you're lighting is setup properly.

It might be easier to feed in a separate enclosure if you're going to use an insect that is good at hiding and escaping such as crickets.

Follow along with all my beardies. Check out my thread here!: Claud's Crew
P.S. We have lots of pictures ;)
