24 inch or 36 inch t5

Can I mount a 36 inch t5 inside my 4x2x2 enclosure? Or a 24 inch ? Also what wattage should I use for a basking bulb? And what kind? It's a wooden enclosure and it will mounted inside

I put the 24" t5 in my 4x2x2 melamine tank i built. And i use a GE 38watt par 38 indoor/outdoor flood light for basking. I have a platform 12" from both lights. I got my basking light from lowes, and they come in a 2 pack. I also have my basking light on a dimmer to keep it at the proper temp. I started with the 80watt equivalent bulbs, but the were too hot, and didn't like to come on cause the dimmer was turned down so far. So i switch to the 38watt ones.
