So I did some reading and found out That my Crested Gecko would do better having his tank vertical would be better then having it horizontal, So I did just that.

Instead of purchasing a new tank I flipped it up on it's side and It works wonderfully as a vertical enclosure.

So I added a new substrate (dampened eco earth) but I first put down a layer of paper towels to help soak up things.

Next I added much more foliage and some other stuff for him, and now he has many hiding places. He seems to love it.

So I would like to see Your opinions on how it looks. :)

View media item 60706 I Think Gizmo likes it, he has been jumping and climbing on everything. He seems so much more active now that I changed it.
View media item 60838 this was his original cage setup (note it is still the same tank, just positioned differently).

Also, this is my 1000th post!!! :blob5: :blob8: :D I really love this Website and would like to thank the staff and everyone else for making it better everyday. :D

I Also redid my snake's enclosure, I added many plants and a new substrate (eco earth). She Loves it. I think it's much more similar to her natural habitat.

Also Gizmo loves his new setup. :D He was jumping and climbing around the whole entire cage all night long. He is at the very top of the tank a lot. :D View media item 61037 View media item 60710

Update: The enclosures are working great and Gizmo and Ruby love them. They are both exploring every bit of their tanks. :)

Thank you, They do seem to really enjoy it.. I Think once the gecko becomes fully grown I will try to do a bioactive vivarium for him. I am still researching though. :study:

Gizmo also shed last night.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
