Regular Light For Cool Side?

Can I use just a regular light for the cool side of my beardies terrarium? Just for the cool side not to be so dark.
If so whats the best bulb to run during the day?

Yeah an incandescent household bulb should be OK. Just double check the temps to make sure they don't spike too much and you maintain a good gradient across the tank. You can also try a T5 6500k grow light bulb which will be very bright but not produce much heat.
