Would it be okay to mount a t8 10.0 24” bulb to the inside of my enclosure? I’ve heard people say to do this and not to do this. Something about reverse mbd? My tank is 12” tall
Need a quick answer for simple lighting question?

That would work fine, t8's always have to be mounted inside the tank since they're a less stronger bulb and cant get past the mesh very well.

I agree. Use a fixture with a reflector (or add one) if you can. The T8 should sit about 6-8'' above the basking area for best results.
