i’m thinking of moving into another room in the house. would moving the tank stress agave out? i don’t really think she’ll care, but i want to be sure.

It could for a little while (it depends on the dragon) but probably not a problem in the long run. Are you moving her to a more active room? They tend to like being able to watch all of the action around the house. My tank is front and center in the living room.
