Is it safe if I grow sod in my beardie's enclosure?

I had an idea to grow a small patch of sod in my baby beardie's enclosure. Is this safe for him to eat on occasion? I figure if it isn't grown all over the tank and is just confined to his cool side, he won't try to make a meal of it.

Is this a plausible and/or safe idea?

How big is the tank? Do you have a bioactive substrate set up already? Most efforts I've seen to grow things in the tank wind up with the plants being trampled pretty quickly so while it's not likely harmful it may not really be feasible. I'd also ensure your tank is big enough to set it up with a bioactive system to help make sure the substrate is maintained properly.

You _can_ but your personal success may vary. as cooper said, many things get trampled and you will need to have some really bright lights to keep sod happy.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
