Hello all,

I am building a new vivarium for dragon and lux.
my question is I still have a large reflector with 2x55w grow and flowering lamps.
(6500k and other I dont remember) I think the codes are daylight.

Will this be usable for my bearded dragons ? maybe with other lamps basicly its 2 folded t5 lamp.

I got one of those reptiglo ( rebranded now its exoterra or something)
But I know they are ****.

I really hope it can be used because its some serious output.

That's a good point, I didn't consider the length of the fixture. That only needs to be slightly longer than your dragon and I wouldn't use one that is more than about 2/3 the length of your tank to allow for some lower UVB/shade areas away from the bulb. A good gradient is important. A really large enclosure using one of these would be quite nice though!

You can also rig up screen or glass to knock down of eliminate UV to make a gradient and still use the light for a smaller cage.... it's just trickier.

It should work with the appropriately sized UVB bulb. They are just T5 bulbs and should fit a T5 fixture. I'm not certain of the output without testing that fixture though. Does it have a smooth, shiny surface on the inside of the reflector? Or is it pitted like the outside?

If that doesn't work out, you can pick up a very good Arcadia setup from Swell Reptiles in the UK. They will ship to The Netherlands. https://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/arcadia-complete-uv-light-kit-desert-reptiles/

I cannot read the page info but it needs to be a T5HO lamp and you will absolutely need to get a specialized UVB bulb for the dragon. Normal propagation lights (6500k) are fine for ambient light but reptile UV lamps are quite specialized and offbrands or UV producing propagation lamps can be dangerous.
