Questioning my lighting choice.

My bearded dragon seems lazy and depressed. I noticed some people getting railed for there choice of lighting in older posts. Some people said that bad lighting can cause this lazy, depressed mood. Here is the light I bought 16 months ago when I adopted my baby dragon.

(This hood comes with a repti-sun 5.0 HO bulb.)

The bulb is good, but the 10.0 is better. Also at 16 months it may have lost almost all of it's strength. Order a new 10.0 and you'll prob. see a difference.

you will need to check the suggested distances though, going from a 5.0 HO to a 10.0 HO is going to give alot more energy which you will want to ensure is set up at the right distances. take a look around and let us know what you plan on using, and how you plan on using it, before purchase, we can get some insight to you if you wish. you aren't a bad keeper or anything, if anything you are one of the better ones for actively trying to fix issues as you find them.
