New Enclosure

I've finally gotten around to set up Hemingway's new enclosure and it just looks so plain :? just wanted some suggestions on a theme maybe? I don't want to get a background until I know what theme I want to go with but the two transparent sides don't seem to bother him. His last cage was so plain just because I knew he would have a new one soon and I didn't want to put too much money into a temporary one. I do want to get another light for the cool side because the desk lamp I have isn't very aesthetically pleasing. Any suggestions would be great

I like naturalistic enclosures and design around the occupants needs/behaviors. For my dragon in his smaller cage (4x2x2) I had a big sandstone slab stacked on bricks to serve as a basking spot and hide, as well as a stack of rocks on the other side for a cool hide. I used branches across the middle for climbing and different perching choices.

As mentioned before go with a natural desert setting or something resembling their natural habitat. I went with a desert closer to trees theme with Peaches neighborhood decor.

It has a tile floor, logs are of driftwood all steam cleaned and baked. Hand made her hide with a removable top. I have also made a hood that holds all the lights and che. Now if I can just find a stuffed kangaroo to put in there with her it will be complete.
The best part is that you can get creative with it, just have fun and if you don't like something...change it out for something else.
