Alright, so I just purchased a 125 w exo terra Mercury bulb for a 20 gallon tank with both uvA and uvB. I was using 2 separate bulbs for uvA and B, but the heat bulb was not heating the tank enough so I went from 100w to 125w. The combo bulb seemed like a good idea and had positive reviews on Amazon. Now I am worried my dragon won't get enough uvB from this new bulb. Should I use the separate uvB light as well, or is it possible for my dragon to get too much uvB?

hi. It is not too much uvb unless your beardie is a baby. Once your beardie is 6 or 8 months ld then you should do the 125w but for now 100 is good

Mercury vapor bulbs are very strong and should actually only be used on a 40 gallon breeder or larger tank. What is the basking & cool side tank & what type of thermometer are you using?

Why do you think your beardie won't get enough UVB, is he not laying under the bulb while basking?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
