Cricket, superworm and other insect poo is great fertilizer

Insect frass [ poo ] is excellent for your gardens . You can use it whether growing vegetables or flowers. I've used cricket poo as well as the superworm poo for years on my flowers. Here are just some of the pots of impatiens that I've used it in. I've also linked a couple of short articles about it.

Here are a couple of articles about using " cricket crap " and mealworm manure .

I've been sprinkling old stinky superworm and mealworm bedding ( if you keep them you'll know how stinky it gets after a few months ) on the lawn for years , and it's now going on the new raised beds , I don't even bother mixing it in , next rain does that.

Silkworm poo is good too.

My cricket poo goes to the mealworms and superworms first ( who eat it ( mostly partly processed bearded dragon pellets ).

Yes, the superworms produce quite a bit and when you keep crickets in bulk they do as well. I just use a sliver of cardboard cut from a cereal box to scoop the loose cricket poo, along with the very few dead crickets . I suppose dubia would produce quite a lot as well. I feed my crickets and my superworms the same thing, a bit of oatmeal, some bran and a variety of veggies.
