As a beardie forum I can assume at least a few people own other reptiles as well. I had a question about leopard geckos, iv had my 2 leos for almost a year now and both are pretty healthy. I just have one nagging question and that's how people get their leos to eat so much/get fat? Mine literally act like cats and feed when their good and ready and refuse food if I offer it lol Which is why I use a bowel for them that they eat small super worms out of.

Hello,

Sorry your post got missed!
I was just wondering if you were able to get your leopard geckos to eat more?
Have you tried feeding him/her outside of the tank, for variety?
We used to feed ours out of the tank, either on the counter or in a small plastic bin. It gave him some stimulation I guess but he always ate well like that.

Thank you for getting back to :) and yes iv tried multiple feeding methods and even changing up what they eat. I did get back to mealworms and both take them well, but for the most part both my geckos still act like picky 2 year Olds haha, no health problems/weight loss though, they've actually been growing. Both hit a year old earlier in November!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
