Fostering a hatchling in bad shape

I am friends with the owner of my local pet store. On Wednesday they got in a baby beardie, he was just skin and bone. I honestly don't know how he even survived the transit. They had force fed him a couple of crickets, and he looks to have eaten some mashed strawberry.

On Friday I stopped in for some crickets and to look at the new stock. This little guy just looked so bad :( I offered to foster him till he was healthy and eating on his own again. So now he is in a ten gallon on paper towels inside my adult beardie's tank underneath the MVB.

Izzy's not very happy about sharing his space but the little one is at the proper temps and safe from the cats.

I picked up some pedialyte and some chicken/apple baby food to make a slurry. He's not taking very much but the 1-2 cc I got into him last night made a difference. He took a little more this afternoon, but I think it'll be some time before he is on anything solid.

Does any one have a better recommendation for a food/slurry for this little guy?
He really is naught but skin and bone. Can barely hold his head up, barely opens his eyes, and his legs are like little twigs. Poor guy.

Poor little guy. Thanks for trying to help him out! If you can pick up some Oxbow Carnivore Care from a local vet or online, I'd try offering that to him because it's pretty well balanced and will give him adequate hydration and protein.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
