My son, 16, tried one last time today, on the last day of school, to talk to the guy about it, but he was angry and said that he was taking the turtle and dragon home, in the same viv, and that was the end of it.
My son is afraid that this guy is going to dispise him now, but I told him that he did the right thing in speaking up for little animals that can't speak for themselves. Who cares if the teacher does not like him now. I am proud of him. He tried. We both did.

you have a good son there good for him. that teacher is the one who has no moral bone in his body how sad.

I don't think I could be prouder if he were my son. It's always great when kids do the right thing. Give him a hug (if he still lets you) and tell him that he is awesome!

I tried talking to an administrator myself, outlining the danger to both the animals and the students, and was just simply told that the man is a reptile expert, period.
Frustrating.

I agree with every single comment about this man :angry5: :angry5: :angry5: :angry5: . Really, you should call an animal control officer to help. I'm sure they would give the turtle and beardie to you. :angry5: :angry5: :angry5: :angry5:

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
