I dunno if it counts as a rescue or not, but I adopted a beautiful adult beardie off craigslist last week. He was being kept in a 20 gallon long tank without a UVB bulb. It didn't take him too long to get used to his new viv, a 40 gallon breeder with proper reptisun uvb bulbs.

He's a full adult and hasn't had any problem eating his food, he went after his sqaush and collard greens within 5 minutes of me putting it in his cage. Same result with the worms.

Anyway, here's a pic of him eating.

I've taken to calling him Dusty cause he looks like he's covered in dust :D

It counts as a rescue! :D I adopted Yoshi off of Craig'slist too. Like Dusty, Yoshi was in a tank with the entirely wrong setup. I was shocked he could live the first two years of his life with the wrong diet and setup. But three weeks of proper care and tlc and he is thriving! Kudos to you for adopting an adult beardie too!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
