My new baby python has only been feed alive mice his whole life. Can I switch to dead ones or will he not take them now?

with a little work you can switch him over, our first one was fed live when we got him. I fed him live the first few times and then when he was comfortable with us started by offering frozen thawed and just made them "dance" around a little and if he refused i'd give him a live one just so he was eating and after a couple times he took the dead ones
