My nearly 3' Rio Feurte beaded lizard swimming in his kitty litter pan pool. Crazy lizard has been in there for 3 days ;)
I usually let them stay in as long as they want unless it's nearing one week because it would be feeding time.[ximg]85426 7647119988[/ximg]
The picture looks like he is in a plastic bin. He isn't....he's in a 150 gallon aquarium. His pool is inside it :)

They are desert animals so there isn't much water around. But when they find it they probably stick around the water source until it dries up...I think it's instinctual. I even have found them soaking in their water bowels in a 55°F room during brumation. My gilas and beadeds do it...

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
