Yeah, have to be patient with them, they don't do anything easy or fast.
But someone already claimed one and it's not even outta the egg yet :)

I'll keep you all informed :)
So far the egg in the picture is the only one that's pipped. The baby now has its head out, but I didn't want to spook it for pictures. But soon it should have company :)

Two more pipped today...I'm expecting more will pip tonight and tomorrow.
I normally never name any of my reptiles, I know that might seem strange. I just haven't named any in the last 25+ years, so it's kind of a tradition. But I'm going to name the first one Martin because he pipped on Martin Luther King's observed holiday.

I didn't have much choice :)
I did incubate at 1°F higher than most people. I wanted to cut the 8 month wait down to 6 months. It worked because 8 have pipped the egg, only 3 more eggs left to go :)

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
