I’m trying to decide between a leopard or crested gecko. I like leopards because of their color and they seem like I could handle them more than a crested. I was just wondering what all I would need to maintain keeping a leopard gecko and want to know a general keeping routine. Also, what would you recommend, crested or leopard?

Both leopard and crested geckos are perfectly handleable as adults. Both are great starter reptiles, although I would recommend the crested gecko just because they're unbelievably easy to care for.

Not much of a decisive answer, sorry haha! You might want to read through these care guides. Knowing care requirements and getting an idea of expected financial investment can help narrow things down between two otherwise excellent reptiles:

One more question... I feed Dubia roaches to my bearded dragon and was wondering if I could also feed them to a leopard. If so, how many would it need?

Leopard geckos are obligate (100%) insectivorous, so dubias work fine — they're better than mealworms, and especially better than supers. Just make sure to feed dubias no larger than the space between the leo's eyes.

As for how many, a general rule of thumb is 2 bugs per 1 inch of length, or as many as they can eat in 15 minutes.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
