I don't know of any other heat pads to use so which one should I use for that tank? And will paper towels burn? And how would I measure to make sure theres not to much humidity in the humid hide? And how would I use the thermostat? And if you see there is multiple options to look at on the link I gave you to the heat pad.

You would want to stick with the heat pad that is made for 10-20 gallon tanks, I believe it may be called a small or mini, but it will say in the description.

What you do with the thermostat is this, you plug the heat pad into the thermostat. The thermostat will have a probe that you will place on top of the heat source, which would be inside you tank over top of the heat pad. The probe will read the temperature of the heat pad and regulate it to the temperature you set it at. So if you set the thermostat at 90 degrees, it will automatically cycle the heat pad on and off for you to keep it at 90 degrees. So if you're running the A/C in the summer and the ambient air is cooler it may never turn the heat pad off, whereas in the winter if you have your heat running on high and the heat pad reaches 91 degrees, the thermostat will shut the heat pad off until it goes back down to 90 degrees.

The paper towels should not burn, especially if you are using the thermostat to regulate the heat. I keep all my hatchlings on paper towels in rubbermaid plastic tubs directly on heat tape and have never melted the plastic or burned the paper towels.

If you keep the humid hide right next to your heat pad it should do fine humidity-wise, you will see condensation along the inside of the hide which is what you want. As long as you keep the moss damp (not soaking wet) it will be fine. What I like to do with my moss is I put it in the hide, fill it with warm water and then squish out all the excess water until it's nice and damp.

For the hides, you want to make sure they are large enough to fit a full size gecko, so look at the dimensions of the hides you are looking at buying and go from there. Say you end up with a male (as an example because they are generally longer), you want to make sure an 10" gecko (going with the extreme length) will fit comfortably inside. They will generally curl around the shape of the hide, so you don't necessarily need a 10" long hide, but a good 6-7" minimum is not a bad idea. You also want to be sure that they will be able to fit through the opening when they are full grown, so a 1" diameter opening is a minimum for a full grown adult.

would a hide with the dimensions of 6.3x9.4x2.6 be good and would 8.8x8.6x6.2 be good for hides? And would the 8"lx6"w be good for the tank I listed?

I'm assuming the 8"lx6"w is the heat pad? Then yes, that would be fine. Until my new rack is built my 2 adults are in a 20 gallon terrarium with a 8x6 heat pad on one side. They favor the cool side all day long, which is about 75 degrees at the floor level, and prefer the warm side when they are active. They will lay on top of the heat pad after eating or after just waking up.

Those hides sound alright in size, as long as your gecko can fit inside. Be sure to measure for the hides fitting inside your 20 gallon tank, you want to make sure to leave some floor space as well.

How close are you to purchasing everything you need? It could be a good idea to draw up a diagram of you tank and how the hides will fit inside scale-wise so you can have a better idea of how everything will fit inside.

And people on other forums said I don't have to measure humidity if I have a 24/7 moist hide, is this true? They also said the tank wasn't a 20 gallon long but i'm not sure if it is, and they said for a 20 gallon long get a 11x7 heat pad and its 22 wats the one I found. They also said they recommend ultratherm and fulkers under tank heaters.

If I have a 24/7 moist hide do I have to measure the humidity? And why if no?

This is what I asked on another forum and on the other forum they said I don't have to measure humidity if I have a 24/7 moist hide, Is this true? Also I can't find a 11x7 heatpad that one person said would be perfect for a 20 gallon long tank.

This is the one they meant, they misquoted the size: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00164PW7U/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1441848557&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=flukers+heat+mat&dpPl=1&dpID=51Z242-GaSL&ref=plSrch

It won't be necessary to measure humidity unless it becomes a problem, as in you see condensation around the tank glass. The humid hide will contain most of the humidity so it won't raise it in the tank. They only need an area they can go to when they need to shed to help loosen their skin. And just an fyi, it's normal for them to eat their shed so you may not even see it happening.

And you can absolutely use plastic containers as hides! :) Just be sure to cut a hole at least an inch in diameter and file down any sharp edges (nail file works fine for that).
