I was at a show in Daytona and saw a Blue Iguana (really blue) Looked like the sky thats how Blue he was. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get one. As My GF fell in love with it and I would like to find her one.

Generally, finding breeders is pretty hard for iguanas. Now I'm not sure how much blue iguanas are sold for, but in most cases the cost of raising an iguana to an appropriate age is more than you could sell it for.

The Blue Iguana or Grand Cayman Iguana (Cyclura lewisi) is a critically endangered species of lizard of the genus Cyclura endemic to the island of Grand Cayman. Previously listed as a subspecies of the Cuban Iguana, it was reclassified as a separate species in 2004 because of genetic differences discovered four years earlier. The Blue Iguana is one of the longest-living species of lizard (possibly up to 69 years). The record is 67 years.

Do the research on iggys. They are cool looking without a doubt. But they can be tempermental and a tail whip from a 6 foot lizard hurts...lol

There are Cayman Blue/Cuban Rock hybrids sometimes available. We have one. True Blues are extremely rare.

No I do not.

You can check on Fauna and Kingsnake, there's always a chance someone might have one for sale. Expect $400 and up.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
