African side-necked care & help

My aunt had bought an African side-necked for my little cousin, who said he HAD to have him. 2 weeks later and he is already ignoring him. So because oc this I am thinking about taking him in. Does anyone have any good resources for enclosers, diet, MBD treatment for African Side-necks??

Don't worry, I don't plan on taking him on 4 wheeler trails any time soon lol (Rogers doing fine minor scrapes and a pulled muscle)
