I am so sorry to hear about your sister's red ear slider. 
Since there is not a memorial section designated to turtles, I see no reason why you could not post it in the Beardie Memorials.
At least this way you could memorialize your sister's turtle for her.
Again, tell your sister I am sorry for her loss.
