Hi I had a question about a CWD I got at PetSmart today. How long does a CWD take to get familiar with his new home and like me better? I got my Beardie from the same place with him instantly liking me and crawling up my arm up and down. Are CWD more shy? Just wondering because I'm really excited to when I can play with him like how I did with my Beardie.

I've never owned one but I've read quite a bit about them and from what I've read they're a lot more flighty than a beardie. He should calm down eventually but they do take a little while longer to get over relocation stress than beardies do.

I have owned a couple of CWD's .As babies their going to be shy because they are in a completly new enviroment. You should give him a week or 2 to get acustomed to his or her new surroundings. But ounce they do they are awesome and if you give them the time and attention they need then they'll end up making great pets.Well mine did .

Hello,

I have owned one before & though she was a rescue & an adult it took her several weeks to become comfortable in her surroundings. Once she did though, she was just as friendly as our dragons & wanted to get put to bed in her blankie, too.
Just keep working with her & be patient & it will eventually pay off!

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
