Introducing a Painted Agama female to a male

First, let me say I do not have a bearded dragon. I have a pair of Painted Agamas. Their care is very similar and there is very little information on Painted Agamas. I hope you can help me with this.

I purchased a female female Painted Agama a few months ago and have had her checked by a vet. She does not have mites and no parasites. What is the best way to now introduce her to the cage with my male. He has never had a cage mate and is 4 years old. When I bought the female there was a male in her cage. She is just over a year old. She is a little smaller than him but not much. I have had them together outside the cage and they seem to get along fine. He licks her from time to time but generally doesn't mind her. Last night I put her in his cage and she started climbing around and eventually got close to him. He puffed out the bottom fold of skin under his chin and started the head bob. He bit her but not hard. There was no blood and no marks. Am I rushing things? I tried putting on some Kenny G and even a little Barry Manilow. Thoughts?

Hi. I don't know about agamas, but if they are like beardies then no they should not be house together. Beardies are territorial and don't like be around each other except to mate. Sounds like there could be a problem since one already attacked the other.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
