Hi everyone! I rescued a painted agama 6 days ago and he's in bad shape. He was being kept in a filthy cage with no UVB and was not given any supplements. He does not appear to be skinny and his eyes are bright and not sunken. However, he refuses to eat and barely moves at all. His back legs are very weak, and he doesn't seem to be able to hold his head up. The guys at my local pet store gave me some crested gecko food and a squirt bottle to force feed him and they gave him some subcu fluids, but he's still weak and won't eat voluntarily. I'm really worried - any advice would be greatly appreciated. I now have him in a 20 gallon with a 100w MVB. I've been soaking him every day. He doesn't appear to be impacted - his belly feels completely empty. He does poop, but very little. Thanks so much!
