I know that superworms should not be used as a staple for my beardie, and only as a treat. But i dont understand whats so bad about them, and why i cant use them as a staple. (Not that i do, im just confused)

Too fattening-- you want something w/ less fat like silk dubia of which I recommend crickets or BSFL - the silk are spendy -- best feeder IMO is the dubias -- they last longer they dont stink they dont chirp and they are not escape artist like crickets --
