Any data on the safety of these unusual foods?

Postby loljelloclowdz » Thu Apr 08, 2021 8:16 am

I grow unusual vegetables every year and I’m wondering if anyone out there has any data at all regarding the safety of these foods. (Obviously I wouldn’t feed them to Mari until veterinarians are confirming the safety of these plants.)

- Tatsoi (a brassica vegetable from Japan.)
- Orach (another brassica vegetable.)
- German chamomile (we only have English chamomile data.)
- Apple cucumber (this is a super sweet cucumber I’d only offer as a rare treat.)
- Chinese pink celery
- Echinacea
- Sunflower (petals only)
- Lavender (I’m a bit hesitant on this one but curious.)
- Gherkins
- Peppermint
Marijke - 50% red 50% yellow hypo het trans female w/ blue bars from Kids And Dragons

Peppermint is OK. Darwin eats that from the garden sometimes. I'm not sure about the others.
