Hello! I have a 2 year old beardie who has a problem eating bugs when I take him outside. I keep a good eye on him but he bolts off before I can get him away. He tries to eat everything when I take him outside: leaves, weeds, bugs, mulch, etc. 2 weeks ago we went in the vet to treat coccidia and just now he swiped up a bug. I have a leash for him but he refuses to wear it. What should I do? Thanks!!

If your gonna take him out I would put him in something he can't eat everything- You could use a plastic tote but you cannot leave him in there long periods cuz they do heat up quickly and NO glass- maybe some sort of play pen -- others on here should have some ideas

OR give a big meal so he's no longer hungry BEFORE taking him outside.

He'll then be more likely to want to just find a sunny warm corner and soak up some rays than getting in mischief and catching rogue wild bugs that he blunders across or come close enough to be reached by his tongue and jaws.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
